Welcome to Oak Class
Mr Lenton is supported by:
There are 20 children in Oak class this year - all of whom are already showing a fantastic attitude to learning with their perseverance, effort and enquiring minds. The class has two new members, who have settled in really well and are enjoying being part of the St. Christopher’s family. Mrs Greenslade has recently joined us as a Teaching Assistant.
Everyone seems very excited about the many things coming up this year: Mexico topic; trip to Cadbury World; Burford Dance Festival as well as swimming in the spring term and much, much more!

CurriculumThe curriculum is all the planned activities which we organise in order to promote learning, personal growth and development. It includes not only the formal requirements of the National Curriculum, but also the curriculum guarantees we as a school provide to develop the independence and responsibility of all of our pupils. We ensure that all children have a broad, balanced and relevant education which provides continuity and progression and takes individual differences into account. We aim to teach our pupils how to grow into positive, responsible people, who can work and co-operate with others while developing knowledge and skills, so that they achieve their full potential.
An overview of the curriculum is attached below:
